“Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand – relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.”
- Osho

Embracing Changes
There are forces at work in your psyche which you cannot control.
They belong to a deeper and wiser part of yourself.
Sometimes it is essential to change an aspect of your life.
This is often the case if you are in a situation which is wrong for you or stagnating. If you resist change, your unconscious wisdom may give you a push by causing a disturbance in your life.
The shock you experience may therefore be a way of forcing necessary change on you.
– Sarah Dening
Change is the only real constant in our lives. Energy is always in motion.
When we resist change, all we do is create discomfort for ourselves. We are always growing, and our perception is always changing. When we try to remain steadfast in out perceptions when they're urging us to see differently, it creates pain.
When we go with the flow, and roll with the changes, and make the best of each situation while looking for solutions and comfort, we create an empowered and happy life for ourselves.
When we sit tight, insisting that we know everything, and we've reached our end, life tends to get more and more choppy around us. Choppy and uncomfortable until our situation forces us into action and change.
Then once we change, our world levels out, and we find that peace and happiness again. Even if only temporarily. But our happiness is only temporary in this life model because we base our happiness upon our situation and circumstances.
Embracing the fact that life IS change creates an everlasting happiness that isn't dependent upon circumstances. Knowing that change is ever coming toward you enables you to see your options and choose, instead of digging your heels in and refusing to move.
Change is exciting. It's exhilarating to have endless options and choices, and the power to pick and choose and create.
Embrace your power to choose and change. You have a guidance system inside of you to guide. Allow it to show you the way. It will never steer you wrong.

Intending Unseen Miracles
When you embrace uncertainty and include intention and detachment,
then the most improbable happens. That’s what we call a miracle.
– Deepak Chopra
Embrace uncertainty. Knowing that even though you don't know what's going to happen, you can handle it and it's going to lead you somewhere great.
Include intention. Knowing what you want to get out of the situation personally, no matter how it presents itself.
Detachment. Being open to any way that God presents your intention in manifested form. Not putting limits on the Universe because you believe things have to look or appear in a specific way.
All these things leave possibility WIDE open for us, and God creates miracles in ways we never would have imagined. When you don't put limitations on yourself or God, the world, in its entirety, is at your complete disposal.
Fear not the unknown. It is only opportunity waiting for you to allow it to unfold.

Roses
Instead of complaining that the rosebush is full of thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
- Proverb
I have been laid up in bed for three days with a wicked cold. It is my goal to have a post here before 11am every morning, and it is currently, as I type this, 10:43am.
Coming here to get a daily dose of depth is the only reason I sat up. Yup, I'm in my bed, with my laptop.
I am trying to be at peace with this virus and I'm having a little trouble :)
The roses.
I have nowhere to be, so no one is missing me, and I can take my time and not worry about it.
The kids are home on vacation, but they're older now and pretty darn self sufficient. They're actually taking care of ME.
The animals keep gathering around to snuggle me with their warm, furriness.
I have Frasier reruns on DVR to watch and a whole box of my favorite tea.
This is really my own fault. This is what I get for eating so so so much sugar over the holidays, not to mention the other unhealthy choices in food. I did a lot of drinking too, which is actually very unlike me, but done just the same.
I guess one can only weaken their body so much before dis-ease creeps in.
sigh*
This too shall pass.

The Power to Be Enlightened
The very fact that you desire to be enlightened will give you the power to be enlightened. That is the fuel. Flame it. Fuel it.
– Marsha Sinetar
Within the acorn is the all the mighty oak needs to become the mighty oak.
The power is in the intention. Not in the reading of books or the practicing of ritual, but in the WANTING. Once you want it, it is moving toward you. No exception.
All you must do is fuel the flame of your desire.
How does one fuel a desire?
NOT by worrying about it not coming.
Not by complaining about what's missing.
Not by looking at the lack.
How does one fuel a desire?
By LOVING it.
Take one part desire and add one part love, mix until combined, and let rise.

Seeing
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
– Marcel Proust
This reminds me of the old adage, "Wherever you go, there you are."
Changing your life isn't so much about changing the outward appearance of your life, but more about changing the way you see it.
You can see a lazy vagrant on the corner, or you can see a lost soul who's afraid and overwhelmed and who feels hopeless and alone. Each sight elicits a completely different emotion.
You can see a disobedient, stubborn child in need of strict discipline, or you can see a child afraid of losing your affection or their own value who only needs love and reassurance.
A person can recreate their entire world without ever leaving their yard. The value of your life isn't measured by what you see, it's measured by HOW you see it.

Now and Then
The journey begins right here. In the middle of the road. Right beneath your feet. This is the place. There is no other place. There is no other time.
– David Whyte
How many times have I thought about and even planned out the starting of a diet on Monday?
Or
Starting tomorrow morning, I'm going to _____ .
There's never a better time than now, because there's never a TIME besides now.
Planning change in the future...
Why would you do something for any reason other than because you feel you will be happier? And if this is the case, why would you postpone your happiness? Why would you stay in "less happy" and make plans for more happy first thing Monday morning?
Do it now. Take a step now. Start now.
You deserve to have everything you want.

Authentic Integrity
“You are in integrity when the life you are living on the outside matches who you are on the inside.”
- Alan Cohen

This is probably one of the greatest spiritual lessons. Really amazing things happen when your insides and actions and words all line up.
Mountains move.
Especially when dealing with conscious manifestation. When your insides don't line up with your outsides, nothing changes. But when our thoughts and beliefs match our words and our actions, we are living authentically and honoring ourselves and honoring our Source, and from that place, creation takes form.
This is also why one should never measure their success against another's.
You cannot be living authentically when trying to be someone else. You are you, and whomever you are is who you were designed to be. Being YOU to the best of your ability, and being true to yourself always is how we truly touch that deepest part of ourselves where out divinity resides.

Divine Guidance
I am open to the guidance of synchronicity, and do not let expectations hinder my path.
–Dalai Lama
I LOVE this quote. It is by far one of my very favorites, so when I came upon it this morning, I KNEW it was my quote for today!
I believe this is probably one of THE most important steps to manifestation. Being open to seeing and being guided by synchronicity. It is made, by divine design, to guide us. To lead us toward our desires. Toward our passions. Toward our own divine purpose and happiness.
When we have expectations of the way it's supposed to be, or the way it has to be in order for us to be happy, we limit God. We put God in a box and beg that He manifest only within the boxed parameters because WE, in our limited knowledge and perceptions, clearly know what's best.
To truly lead a magical life, we must be open to the flow. Open to the guidance we may receive. Open to God's divine communication with us.
In "reality," all the things we long to manifest aren't actually about the things, but the growth. Manifestation is about the expansion. The inner, Spiritual, and personal growth. When a manifestation is successful, we experience growth. Then suddenly, the manifestation itself is of little importance because we've realized that we had everything necessary for our happiness all along.

Loving What Is
"Even when you think you have your life all mapped out, things happen that shape your destiny in ways you might never have imagined."

I am reminded that, no matter how undesirable I may judge a circumstance to be, all things are instrumental in the fulfillment of a desire I have already put forth. If I allow things to be as they are, divine things can unfold for me.
