Be Angry!

"You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger."
- Buddha

This reminds me of another saying... Resentment (or anger?) is like swallowing poison to kill your enemy.

Anger isn't an unhealthy emotion.  So many on the path to enlightenment or who are working with the "Law of Attraction" fear being angry, worried that they will simply bring more negativity to themselves.  This is just untrue.

Now, don't get me wrong, if you skulk around all the time, pissed off at the world, then yes, you're going to attract negativity to you.  In a case such as this, anger is less an emotion and more a state of mind.

Anger as an emotion is not only harmless to your conscious creation, but sometimes essential.  Anger ignites fire within us.  Anger sets us in motion.  When anger doesn't set us in motion, then it becomes a state of mind.  When you're overcome with such a strong emotion, you need to act.

The Universe will not "punish" you for feeling anger... for being passionate enough about something to feel angry at the state of things.  But if you do nothing, and just hold onto that anger, the anger itself will punish you through the all consuming thoughts and feelings you will end up if you don't release it.

So BE angry!  If you see injustice, get pissed!  Ignite change!  Create passion!  Just remember that anger is the beginning.  When anger is the end, then you are punishing yourself.

Intending Unseen Miracles

When you embrace uncertainty and include intention and detachment,
then the most improbable happens. That’s what we call a miracle.
– Deepak Chopra

Embrace uncertainty.  Knowing that even though you don't know what's going to happen, you can handle it and it's going to lead you somewhere great.

Include intention.  Knowing what you want to get out of the situation personally, no matter how it presents itself.

Detachment.  Being open to any way that God presents your intention in manifested form.  Not putting limits on the Universe because you believe things have to look or appear in a specific way.

All these things leave possibility WIDE open for us, and God creates miracles in ways we never would have imagined.  When you don't put limitations on yourself or God, the world, in its entirety, is at your complete disposal.

Fear not the unknown.  It is only opportunity waiting for you to allow it to unfold.

Tried & True

Meditation and prayer have withstood the test of time. They work today as perfectly as they did for those who first practiced and perfected them
- Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith

This is a great reminder as we enter a new year with our new resolutions to be new people.  To develop new habits and banish the old.

Ask for help.

Not from friends and family.  Not from counselors or teachers.  Ask God.

Meditate.  Find a little silence in your mind.  Create a connection to your creator and ask for signs.  Ask for guidance.  Ask for help.

Ask and it is given, as Abraham-Hicks says.
Or better yet...
Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given unto you. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door will be opened."

Sweet Remembrances

Sow good services: sweet remembrances will grow from them.
– Madame de Stael

Kindness is the best service we can provide for others.  No matter what is happening around you, you always have a choice to react with your ego or to react with kindness.

Rarely are we remembered as we are.  More often we are remembered by our deeds.

Commit good deeds and kind services and you will be remembered for them.

People WANT to think good thoughts and feel good about you.  By acting from your true self, you give them plenty of evidence to associate with you.

But here's the Magick~ You will also remember your own kindness and that will bring you to think good thoughts and feel good things about YOURSELF.

One simple kindness can touch many.

The Power to Be Enlightened

The very fact that you desire to be enlightened will give you the power to be enlightened. That is the fuel. Flame it. Fuel it.
– Marsha Sinetar

Within the acorn is the all the mighty oak needs to become the mighty oak.

The power is in the intention.  Not in the reading of books or the practicing of ritual, but in the WANTING.  Once you want it, it is moving toward you.  No exception.

All you must do is fuel the flame of your desire.

How does one fuel a desire?

NOT by worrying about it not coming.
Not by complaining about what's missing.
Not by looking at the lack.

How does one fuel a desire?

By LOVING it.
Take one part desire and add one part love, mix until combined, and let rise.

Honoring God AKA Yourself

That you may retain your self-respect, it is better to displease the people by doing what you know is right, than to temporarily please them by doing what you know is wrong.
– William J. H. Boetcker

About William J.H. Boetcker from wiki.

I believe this 100%

This is what I feel is the definition of living an authentic life. Want to see magick in your life?  Make this your personal motto.

There is so much that people say they want or say they believe or say they feel.  But when given a situation to act in a way that is authentic and congruent to what they say, they often act out in a shallow, unconscious way that doesn't honor their true self at all.

Be true to you.

Daydreams, Nightmares, & Fantasies, Oh My!

Fantasies are more than substitutes for unpleasant reality; they are also dress rehearsals, plans. All acts performed in the world begin in the imagination.
– Barbara Grizzuti Harrison

Ten years.

That's how long it's been that I've been on this path, how long I've been a seeker.

On my path, and TONS of similar paths, it is well known that, we get what we think about, and that goes for daydreams and fantasies too.  Even in the Bible it speaks of being pure of mind.

Still I will sit here and see terrible things play out in my mind.  Still I will see all the ways my current venture could go wrong.

It's funny how we do that.  It's funny how we can know the truth and yet sill indulge the lie from time to time.

I wonder if Jesus imagined for a moment what it would be like if Roman Guards came to arrest and persecute him?  Or if Ghandi entertained being beaten when he was standing up for non-violence?

Do not mentally entertain anything which you do not also wish to entertain in your living room.
I do believe that's my new motto.

Cookies or Chasms

Creation is always happening. Every time an individual has a thought, or a prolonged, chronic way of thinking, they’re in the creation process. Something is going to manifest out of those thoughts.
- Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith

I think remembering this little piece of wisdom is HUGE.

I think this is what so many forget.   They stand on the edge, staring into the chasm of what they feel is missing and want to know what thoughts they should think in order to fill up the chasm with their manifested desire. All the while creating only a big, empty chasm, because that's the only thing they can see.

Chocolate Chip Cookie.

What thought came to your mind when I said that word?  I'd be willing to bet that 99% of you SAW a cookie in your mind.  You didn't think a word, you FELT like a cookie.

You likely have nothing but good feelings about cookies.  Even if you feel that you eat too many of them, or if you DO eat them, you will gain weight, you probably get a warm and comforted feeling from the image of that cookie in your mind.

That is the thought to embrace.

Lonely.

See.  That one didn't really have a picture, did it?  It was more of a chest centered feeling.

Clear picture or simple feeling, you are creating it.  You felt it, right?  And when you felt it, it became apparent in your energy field.  Not apparent as a cookie or a mate, but as a warm, comforted, happy energy or an empty, something's missing energy.

When you think about money while feeling that you need to manifest more, you're looking into the chasm and yelling "MORE!!!" and hearing "more.. more.. more.. more..." echoing back to you.

You are always creating.  Sitting here right now and reading this message, you are creating.

Are you creating cookies or chasms?
